There is a race going on and Google is currently winning. The race isn't about functionality or price – it's about making you look more ridiculous. Between the death of aesthetics in the Google Glass and all the people talking to their phones (talking about the Moto X specifically), Google is definitely the leader at this, but as it turns out, Microsoft want a piece of that pie, as well.
