Apple recently launched iOS 7, and the new software comes with many new changes. Not only are there changes to the functionality of the phone, but there are also changes to the look and style of the phone too.

When Apple (or any phone for that matter) updates their software, most of the apps need to be updated as well to ensure they function properly with the new platform. Along with updating the current apps you have, new software like iOS 7 can also force you to add some new apps to your phone or tablet that will enhance your user experience.

If you’ve recently downloaded iOS 7, the following are some apps that would make the new software an even better experience.

If you like to read, you need to download the Kindle app for your phone. With the new iOS 7 software, Kindle made some great additions to their app, which is beneficial to every avid reader. Not only does the app have a cleaner design, but it also changed the way you can organize your books and other documents. For example, you can organize them into “work books”, “kids books”, “thrillers” or any title you want to help you find your books more easily.

Buying and selling on eBay has never  been easier with the new design and functionality of the iOS 7 app. Now, search improvements help you locate the exact item you’re looking for, and you can even save your searches or favourite sellers for quicker access to items you may be interested in buying. If you’re posting an item for sale with the app, you can now enjoy quicker upload times, so you can get to the selling process a lot faster than ever before.

If music is your thing, then Pandora is the app for you. This app made great changes to both the iPhone and iPad apps. Now, you can learn more about the artists that are currently playing. Plus, they made the screen bigger for the iPad app, so you now have a new design and new layout with easier usability. You can now also publish your music choices to Facebook and Twitter, which is something iPad users couldn’t do before.

Even if you already had Twitter, you may notice that this social media site received a whole new look with the updated iOS 7 software. With the new Twitter, the layout is much cleaner and user friendly, but there are also some additions. First, Twitter now has it’s own music station on iTunes Radio. Second, you can now search through Twitter using Siri, so there’s no need to type out all your searches. Finally, the Shared Links feature in Safari lets you access all the links that were shared by the people you follow on Twitter, giving you access to information without even being logged into the app.

If you enjoy podcasts, you may not enjoy Apple’s podcast app so much. But that doesn’t mean you have to suffer through it. With Instacast, you can have access to all your favourite podcasts in an easy-to-use location. The design of the app is clean, and it will automatically download podcasts you’re subscribed to using WiFi. When your podcasts are done downloading, Instacast will send you a push notification, so you’ll always be in the know and never miss a podcast again.

If you find yourself taking audio notes, you need Rev Voice Recorder. This app is free and provides you with some of the best recording features of any voice recording program.
